The strawberry festival

Pungo.
Strawberry festival.
Excitement
Strawberry picking.
Parade...

Words that everyone around us have been raving on and on about for atleast a couple of weeks now. So of course we were curious. We rounded up Dan and Chelsea and our new good friend Crystal, who DJ works with. And headed to the Strawberry Festival. It was a blast. We spent the first little bit picking strawberries.

Dj had to ride the bull

Annica Stopped to dance to fun music

Annica rode the ferris wheel with DJ, we saw a fire truck spitting water, pigs racing, strawberry tacos, shortecake, chocolate dipped strawberries... you name it. And a really fun parade with things like cheerleaders all the way to a hillbilly float, all the local businesses, and of course many repersentatives of the different military groups. Peopl laughed and had a good time until the miltary came by then everyone would get really quite and clap. I could have cried every time.

Then we found an even more fun beach. Eli spent his time eating sand, and I wish I would have had the camera because Dj went for a swim and Annica got SO BRAVE and ran into the waves and away from them, sat in the ocean... what a fun day!

Whooaaa!!! LOVE the post. It looks like it was so much fun. And we give big credit to DJ for riding the bull. Nice form!!! I hope there was a rodeo clown in there in case things got dicy. Thanks so much for sharing. Oh... and for Annica's enlightenment... the horse that Sean rode was named Dobbin and the other one was Scout. Can't wait to see you guys next week!!
