Well, how to you begin a post that relays closing a chapter of life? This was a chapter of life we never saw closing... leaving a place we thought we may never love, but was fine for now. 4 years ago we moved into an attic apartment above Kent and Jody Jones who became best friends. We soon began work and school, and lived in the town of Rexburg Idaho.
Coming from Colorado Springs colorado, it did not take us logn to realize how small of a town we had gotten ourselves into. Walmart, A large Grocery store, couple of bowling alleys, a coupel movie stores, couple movie theatres, a few resteraunts we had never heard of, a pretty decently sized school where we intended to live most of our lives, and lots and lots of Latter Day Saints.
We started school, started to meet people... and the situation began to grow on us. We made friends. Friends that we will know for a lifetime. People took care of us, we hope we took care of them. Rexburg will have a place in our hearts always... but moreso the people we met, know and love will forever be engraven in our hearts.

I think Rexburg will have a special place in the hearts of most who lived there. It's an interesting pattern you explained about living in a place that you initially resist and then finally becomes home. I think Rexburg has surprised all of us, and I never loved it more than when I no longer lived there.
