(We hope that his jaundice goes down by tomorrow)
He should be able to come home by wednessday or thursday. It just depends on how well he eats. He needs to be able to 51 cc's by breast or bottle consistantly for 1 and 1/2 to 2 days. If he doesn't do that, then he has to be tube fed through his nose. However, this morning he pulled his own tube out, and has been breast feeding ever since. So as long as tonight and tomorrow go well, he should be on his way home. Annica got to see him and showed us his eyes, and nose and wanted to touch his hand. She understands that he is not in my tummy anymore though I think she is starting to understand that he is going to be home with us. Today when she and grandma drove past the hospital she said "Hospital, Eli is sleeping." Let me update you on her incredibly crazy and exciting time in colorado. But first heres some pics of Eli.
My brother Sam, his wife Kristin and their son Isaac have ben here for nearly two weeks. MY brother Mike, his wife Tia and their daughter Annabelle came for there weekend. Plus my parents and my brother Jake are here. Talk about a full but fun house! Its actually perfect, becasue Annica is so busy with cousins and everyone else that we do not feel as bad that we have to be at the hospital for several hours of feeding time. Though she has missed us and I know she loves us. Here are some of the fun and sweet moments of her trip in Beautiful Colorado.

Thanks for checkin on us. I know we have been hard to get a hold of. DJ usually has his cell phone, 719-244-5503 or there is always our e-mail which is lovincows@gmail.com. I will try to check it as often as possible. We don't know how soon we will be heading home for Idaho. It probably won't be for quite a few days or maybe up to a week. We hope not to be to much longer because DJ has to start school on the 12th. If Eli takes too long we may be sending DJ home without us for a few days. (lets all pray against that.) Thanks again for everything!!
