Date with the cold

Well... it warmed up to 6 degrees. No wind, and the sun was shining. So the kids and I decided to bundle up in three layers, and play in the snow. It was Eli's first experience really being in a lot of it. He thought it was fun for a while, until he got too confident walking in in snowsuit and face planted in it. Then he was perfectly happy in the stroller. Annica can't get enough of it. She made a snow angel, and ate a lot of it! We went for a little walk... then she was begging me to teach her how to make a snowball. Unfortunately, it just not the snowball kind of snow... to powdery and cold for that business. hopefully we will get the chance to teach her before we leave here. It sure was nice to get outside!! We lasted about a half hour and it was so much fun!

They look so cute all bundled up in three layers! I laughed imagining Eli face plant, maybe that's rude of me, but it reminded me of the movie 'A Christmas Story'

Way to get out of the house Jessi! That is pretty dang cold, but the kids don't seem to notice in the pictures, you must have bundled them up good. Great pictures!

I love how big Annica is smiling out in the snow! (SO cute!) --and it cracks me up that you propped Eli against a tree and made him a chair out of snow! =)

Have a merry Christmas Andersons!!!
