Success

What would it take to plan a successful DAY at the beach? (not just an hour or two). We finally figured it out!
Lots of snacks, drinks, sandwiches, new sand toys, a porta-crib, chairs, beach umbrella, extra towels, 85 degree weather, slight breeze, warm ocean, friends, calm attitudes... (lots of pics!)

The sand castles soon turned into a sand turtle, then got swept away by the ocean!

Annica had fun running away from the waves, and jumping into the waves!

While Eli kept his distance, played in the dirt, and ate sticks!

Then Eli soon enjoyed a slumber with the ocean waves calming him.

Then we all got into the water, jumped in the waves, boogy boarded, played and enjoyed the water!

(these are Dan and Chealsea's feet)

At the end of the day, Annica just wanted to be wrapped up in as many towels as possible! But no one wanted to leave. Hopefully there are more days like this to come!

I can't believe you took the porta crib to the beach. That's awesome! I'm glad you had so much fun. We can't wait to see you guys in a couple of weeks!

That looks like so much fun!! What a great idea to bring a portacrib. I bet that made life a little easier. You are so lucky to live so close to the water. Annica looks exhausted in the last picture!
