The kids LOVED hanging out at Grandma Tina's house. They live on many, many acres. They have One sweet house dog - Zoe. And they have 7 or 8 dogs they roam free on their property. Cassie took us for a walk, and we found turtles and had butterflies landing on the kids. What a beautiful place! (justin has pictures from this walk, but he might be holding them hostage while he waits for his wedding photos)
They live waaaayy out in the boondocks past this pepsi machine. Yup, just chillen in the country, incase you get thirsty traveling down the looong dirt roads.
Grandma Tina has a bad neck injury, and is awaiting surgery. The kids loved snuggling with her and reading books together on her Nook. While Tanner found anything possible to climb on.
He also discovered that is hilarious to kiss himself in the mirror.
Steves Sons - Dj's step brothers- Also live near by. It was so fun for the kids to meet their new cousins. This is Matt's son Levi hugging Tanner.

Oh, Did I mention something important happening while we were there? Hmm... what was it?... oh yes! DJ's brother Justin got married! We are so happy to welcome Rachel into the family!
DJ's Grandpa Jay, his Aunt Vickie and his Dad were all able to come to Oklahoma for the occasion, It was good to see them!

Presenting for the First Time Mr. Justin and Mrs. Rachel Anderson
With the Help of my Dad and brothers, I have been studying photography again. Justin and Rachel graciously let me practice on them, and let me be their wedding photographer. (more to come).
After the wedding, we headed back to Bartlesville for the reception. It was a blast!
Chatting with Grandma Tina.
Levi, Steve and Tanner
Hanging out with Aunt Cassie
On the table there were these 'non-flame' candles. Eli carried one around. He thought it was amazing.
"Its NOT hot mommy!!"
(annica was running around like crazy... I must not have gotten many pics of her. But as a Disclaimer, she was totally there enjoying every moment!)
We are SO GLAD we made this trip. And so excited to only be 5 1/2 hours away from Family. Thanks for letting us come!! it was SO great to be with you!

You can definately see that it's DJ's brother, they look quite a bit like each other. Glad you had fun.
You guys are such troopers for driving and going and just being happy about all of it. Eli looks so old! The dark, longer hair really makes him look so much more grown-up than when I last saw him. Tanner is a crackup climbing on everything. We feel very blessed that this activity has only just occurred to S. Injuries underway, believe me. And second Lori's opinion--Justin is like D.J. 2.0, with darker, curlier hair! Ha!
