Happy little One Year Old

Oh my! Is it true? My little tiny brand new baby has turned One year old? Yes, folks, it is! 

Tanner is now ONE!! 

His birthday was the same day that his brother Justin got married. We were planning on celebrating it later on, (which we did also), but.... when we went out for Justin and Rachel's wedding lunch we couldn't resist singing to him and letting him have some cheese cake. 

He giggled the whole time we sang, and loved the cheesecake. yum! 

 About a week later, we felt settled into our house enough to do something special for him at home. (of course, he didn't know the difference anyway.) 

DJ picked out this adorable Tractor cake. Thinking he would dive right in, we set the entire cake in front of him. He graciously started by picking of some frosting and tasting it. 

 Then we cut everyone a piece, and it didn't take long for him to realize that devouring it might be a better option. 

 For quite some time, he has thought it was funny ot put things on his head and giggle. So we have started saying "on your head", and we all laugh. Well, what better timing than now for him to start up his favorite game? Yep, on his head went the cake! 

After that, and after eating all he could - he ended up in the bath. Doesn't it look like that tractor drove up his face and right over his head? 

 Silly, sweet, snuggly, wonderful one year old boy. Oh how we love you!
