First Class

We flew to Colorado last Saturday, and are still here in what most may say is Heaven on Earth. On our flight over, we got delayed while sitting in the runway for 1 1/2 hours. Luckily our kids were absolutely amazing on the flight! It may have something to do with the fact the we got upgraded to first class and even Eli got his own first class seat. I always wondered what the hype was about first class and now that I know, let me let you in on the secret. Up behind those curtains that we have always tried to peek around, are nice large seats with arm rests that are big enough for two people. As we walked in there was a pillow and a blanket on every seat. They give away free snacks, but not just the normal snacks. They had bananas, twix bars, big bags of pretzels, bags of cookies, of course peanuts. The best part about the snacks was that you can have as many as you wanted. There was no limit, and the were no fees. One thing that we thought was over the top, but still fun was that they served our sodas in glass cups. We felt incredibly fancy, we were so comfortable and somehow the whole atmosphere and the kids not being crowded allowed them to behave and play well for not only the two hour flight, but also the extra 1 1/2 ours we were stuck in the runway. We have felt First Class and spoiled ever since. With family, and fun experiences and the atmosphere here and much, much more!
