First of all, I am so grateful for my mother and for all that she has done for me throughout my life. Through the good and the bad, the easy times and the trials our mother always cared for the way the Lord would have her do. She taught us the truths of the gospel, good standards, good self of steam, to always love each-other and others and so much more. Not only did she teach us with her words but by her example. She is one of the neatest ladies in the entire world, and I am so glad that Heavenly Father sent me to her. Not only was she, and still is a great mother. But she is a wonderful Grandmother to my children, and their cousins and one of my best friends. Thanks mom for everything! I love you!

This weekend was declared Mother's weekend in our house. DJ cleaned, and cooked, and folded the laundry, let me nap and helped take care of the kids all weekend long! He made me crepes, chicken cordon blue, and even brought the mattress into the living room for a slumber party. He and Annica ventured out on a daddy daughter date an came back with these beautiful flowers and a fun bracelet and earrings that Annica picked out herself! Annica also made me a card at preschool, and told me happy mothers day over and over! I even got lots of snuggles from eli! Thanks for a great weekend! here are some pics that Dj took.

Love the bright flowers! Isn't it fun when the kids can be part of mothers day instead of daddy doing all the planning?
