Easter Extravaganza

I once borrowed a fantastic book about traditions from my friend Stephanie Braniff. It had amazing things in it. Not only did we discover different fun traditions, but importants reasons to have traditions. DJ and I decided that the more oppurtunies we have to create traditions - the more oppurtunities we create for our family to be together. The things weekly, monthly adn even daily are incredibly important. And of course holidays are a perfect time for traditions. We began some fun ones this year with Easter begining the night before.

Dying easter eggs. (jagger got to hang out with us for a couple hours too... it was a blast!)

We have been trying to teach Annica all week about the resurection. The other night was asked Annica what she learned about Jesus this week. She said "He died... (long pause)... but he lives again so we can be with him too." It was one of those speeachless, proud yet humbling parenting experiences. They will listen is you teach. She is a incredbile spirit and we are so greatful for the atonement, the resurection, for Jesus Christ and to have her and Eli with us.

Sigh

Church was incredible. The Elders qourum presidency spoke in sacrement meeting and it was exactly what I needed to hear. THere was a musical number that made me bawl. The spisrt was so strong. Then the sunday school lesson was interactive and incredbile, and relief society was amazing and is always is. The spirit was incredible. It was the perfect easter sunday. We had roast, The kids took good naps, I took a good nap.... it was truley a happy easter.

Hope yours was too! We send our easter Wishes
