Since we were in CA anyway, lets make a trip out of it!
After the wedding, we were headed to Santa Cruz! On the way there, we stopped by Henry Cowell Red Wood Forest.
These redwoods were GIGANTIC! I was soo amazed. Really... look at Annica and Annabelle compared to this one, single tree.
Our Family could not even fit across the front side of this tree.
Most of the kids ran the trails. These two poor boys were stuck in the mobys. But they didn't seem to mind.

We walked the trails together, but overheard a tourist telling people that there was a famous traveler that slept inside this tree. This made it sound like a one-man cave. (still neat). But then we discovered we could fit out entire family of 16 people, standing up inside this tree. Incredible.
