Land of Corn

So where did we head off to anyway?
The Land of Corn - Lincoln, Nebraska!

How do we feel about it? So excited!!

Our city is sooo family oriented. Complete with a zoo, childrens museum, city playgrounds and city gardens.
Our neighbors seems friendly so far.
We are living in a house (can I get a "yahoo!" ?). We have a big back yard.
Our ward seems nice.
We are only 5 1/2 hours from DJ's mom and only 8 hours from my Parents.
It might sound silly, but we are looking forward to the snow.
And all you GA friends - get this- its only 74 degrees and beautiful!

Why did we move to NE? DJ's company has sent him to work on the building of the new Basketball arena for.... drum roll please......

The University of Nebraska. The Cornhuskers! He has not been a Cornhuskers fan, but is totally STOKED about this project.  He has ALWAYS talked about doing an arena or stadium. And I am sure his fan status will change quickly. Its contagious around here.

Best of all, no matter where we go, it feels like home because we are together as a family.

GO CORN HUSKERS!
