A great surprise!

My mom called a couple of weeks ago and ask if she could come and visit! What a great surprise it was! We of course agreed, as we always do and we had an awesome time!

She stayed for four days, the kids would have been happy staying home to play with her all week. We did do a lot of that, but we also got to get out!

Here are some picture from the amazing and beautiful Minnesota Zoo (complete with dolphins)

We saw a bear, a tiger, sea otters, and even a bird show. But I think that the kids favorite part was the farm. First of all, we got to be pulled on a wagon behind a tractor Eli thought this was beyond fantastic. They saw cows, and horses... and of course goats. We spent the most time with the goats the kids LOVE to pet any kind of animal! It was very fun!




Along the way the kids were cooperative in posing for pictures, which does not happen often... so here are the results! Annica may have gotten a little dramatic while posing.




Later in the week, Annica was SO excited to help Grandma Shauna Make a Blueberry pie! Eli got to help too! What fun in is to be domestic with grandma... while making something delicious! They even shared with Mommy and Daddy!






Once the kids were tucked in bed, we talked, play a game, watched a movie! It was so nice to have Grandma Shauna's help and company! Thanks for coming! Can't wait to see you again!
