8 is Great!

Annica turned 8 years old last month. This is an especially big birthday within our religion, because at the age of 8 you can choose to be baptized. That is exactly what Annica chose to do. Thanks to her grandparents, her two cousins that are just her age, Annabelle and Isaac were able to come to visit her for this special event - along with her Aunt Tia Tia and her Aunt Kristin, and of course Grandma Shauna and Papa Zeke.

On her actual birthday we celebrated as a family.

For her birthday, she wanted pet parakeets, so lo and behold- make their debut on the Anderson family blog..... Tide and Sky.

She wanted to save her birthday party for when her cousins came. She planned the whole thing herself - a bird birthday party. It was so well planned, and so much fun!

Then it was time for the big day. All dressed in white, and prepared - and a little bit nervous, but mostly excited. Annica was baptized by her Dad on September 21st. DJ also gave her the gift of the Holy Ghost.

                                                                One Beautiful girl!

It was a great weekend. Time with family always goes by to fast!
Thank you all for coming and helping us share this special time with Annica! We love you!

It was such a wonderful time to be there for Annica's baptism. We are so thankful for her and the kind and good sister and friend that she is.
